Threatened Species Sketches

A series of ink sketches of threatened species- made for the production of art prints and cards for a threatened species day event at the local zoo I was working at.
A large portion of the money made from the sales of the cards was donated to the zoos conservation fund, which supports local and interstate conservation organisations.

Species within the series are as follows-
Australian Bilby
Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo
Dingo
Eastern Quolls
Tasmanian devil

Northern Quoll

The Northern Quoll is a member of the Dasyuridae family, which means they are closely related to Tasmanian Devils. These Quolls are listed as Endangered. Their main threat was the introduction of the Cane Toad which they would prey on and sadly be poisoned. Efforts are being made to combat this through breeding quolls that have learnt to avoid the toads which can then be released into the wild!

Available for purchase as A3 sized limited edition artist prints. Please contact for further details.
Part of the profit made from sales of these prints goes directly into supporting local and interstate conservation organisations.

Koala mother and joey

Koalas are a type of marsupial, this means they give birth to underdeveloped young which then develop inside their mothers pouch, just like a Kangaroo.

Koalas eat the leaves of eucalyptus trees and rely on them as their homes. They are under threat of extinction due to habitat loss, as the trees are their homes and their only food source.
